Privacy Policy — Truth or Dare: Dare Wheel
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Truth or Dare: Dare Wheel mobile app ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account identifier (Firebase Authentication). When you first open the app we create an anonymous account so your data can sync. If you choose to link an account, we also store the email address you provide.
- Gameplay data (Cloud Firestore).
- Custom tasks — the truth/dare text you create. This is private to your account.
- Leaderboard stats — your number of spins, dares completed, and a randomly
generated nickname (e.g.
TurboOutlaw42). Your real name is never used.
- On-device settings (stored only on your device). Sound on/off, whether the 18+ mode has been unlocked, and your favourite prompts. These never leave your device.
2. What we do NOT collect
- No third-party advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- No sale or sharing of personal data for marketing.
3. How we use your information
- To run the game and save your custom tasks across sessions and devices.
- To display the global leaderboard.
- To keep the service secure and working correctly.
4. Service providers
We use Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to store and sync the data above. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms; see the Firebase Privacy & Security page. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
5. Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app:
Settings → Delete Account & Data.
This permanently removes your custom tasks, your leaderboard entry, and your account. You may also request deletion by emailing itsfar47@gmail.com; we will action verified requests within 30 days.
6. Children's privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. The "Kids" mode refers to family-friendly question content, not to targeting children as users. The "18+" mode contains adult party content and is gated behind an age confirmation.
7. Security
Access to your data is restricted to your own authenticated account via server-side security rules. All network traffic is encrypted in transit.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
